A few good movies and a few bad ones

I just wanted to let you all know of a few good movies I watched yesterday and a few shitty ones.

Yesterday was a movie marathon day.

I watched Killer Joe, Arbitrage, The Good Doctor, the new Resident Evil, Premium Rush and Sparkle.

Killer Jow with Matthew McConaughey was pretty good. It had quite a bit of nudity and some sexual content but it was about Joe (Matthew) who is a cop and an assassin. He is hired to kill a woman and things don't quite go according to plans. Gina Gershon is in it and it was pretty good overall. You got to see Matthew's naked ass a few times. He shows way more in this movie then he does in Magic Mike.

Arbitrage with Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon was very good. It is about a guy who owns a major financial company and has some shady business dealings and some personal issues that go wrong in his life. It kept my interest through out the whole movie. I would recommend it.

The Good Doctor with Orlando Bloom just outright sucked ass. I wouldn't waste any time on it whatsoever. It was free to me or I would have felt ripped off. It was bad.

The new Resident Evil movie was probably good if you are a Resident Evil fan but I personally didn't like it. It had a very heavy zombie theme this time and I couldn't care less about zombies. If you are a RE fan you will prob like it. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with it.

Premium Rush was about a bike delivery messenger service is NY and the antics of a few messengers that get themselves into trouble. It was very fast paced and very good. The entire movie takes place in a matter of 90 minutes. That's how long it is suppose to be in real life and that is how long the actual movie is.

I also watched Sparkle with Jordan Sparks and Whitney Houston. It was pretty good but Whitney wasn't a very good actress. I am remembering her from The Bodyguard and she just sucked in this movie. But the movie, overall, was pretty good.

EDITED TO ADD:
Today I also watched Seeking a Friend for the ENd of the World with Steve Carrell and Keira Knightly. And although I do not like her I liked the movie. The first half is slow and kind of boring but if you keep watching to the part where they go to jail it gets way better after that. I didn't like how it ended but the over-all theme of the movie, which is, what would you do with your time if you only had a few weeks to live, is a good theme for a movie. IMO.

I also watched Trouble with the CUrve with Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams. I had such high hopes for this movie because I LOVE LOVE LOVE CLint Eastwood AND Justin Timberlake, the movie was not good. I love how it ended. The last 5 minutes of the movie was good, but the first hour and a half of it was boring and slow. I thought the trailer was very weak when I saw it and it was weak because the movie is very weak. I think you may have to watch it anyway though. If someone had told me this movie sucked I would have watched it myself anyway because I had high hopes for it.
