I miss you. No, seriously I do!

Ok, I have been MIA/AWOL lately and a lot of you know why...

This gawd dayum Casey Anthony trial. I don't have time to do anything from trying to make sure I keep up with all the coverage and testimony.

For those of you who live under a rock and haven't heard of Casey Anthony she is a mom accused of murdering her 2 yr old daughter then dumping her body in the woods only to be found 5 months later. The strange part is the accused, Casey Anthony, never reported her own daughter missing. She was "missing" for 31 days and didn't tell anybody. When Casey's mom found out her granddaughter was missing she called 911 and told them not only was her granddaughter missing but that Casey's car smelled like there had been a dead body in it.

Casey lied to the authorities about who she last gave Caylee to, a nanny/babysitter that ended up being a fictional character in Casey's mind. The woman didn't exist. Which begs the question, who had Casey actually been dropping Caylee off to when she claimed she was taking her to this "nanny's" house.

People are speculating that Casey no longer wanted to be a mother, was tired of having to take care of her daughter because she wanted to sleep around with all these different men, go out drinking and dancing and just really wanted to get rid of her daughter. It is being charged that she used chloroform to knock her daughter out and was putting her in the trunk to keep her quiet while she went out partying.

When the little girl's remains were found she had 3 pieces of duct tape wrapped around her mouth and nose.

Casey is claiming that her daughter accidentally drowned in the family pool. If that is the case why did they put duct tape on a dead kid's mouth? She is lying. She is also accusing her own dad of sexually molesting her from the time she was 8 yrs old. I believe that is a lie also. She is trying to save her own ass and keep from getting the death penalty.

I don't know ANY mother who's kid would go missing for 31 days and they NOT report it. Her defense team is saying she never reported her daughter missing because she already knew she was dead, from that accidental drowning the month before she was reported missing.

Anyway. You can watch the trial coverage every day on the TRU TV channel until 2 pm then you have to switch over to HLN (channel 204 on DirecTv) and watch it there until 4 pm. (5 Eastern time)

In other news, we (me and my 2 youngest kids) went swimming/laying out over at my friend Nicole's house Friday afternoon and obviously our sunblock from last year has expired because we all 3 got severely sunburned. It has been very unpleasant for all of us since Friday. Mine is only just now starting to not hurt today. The redness is going away. Hopefully by tomorrow we will all 3 be better and next time I am at Walmart I will buy NEW sunblock. I had to learn the hard way that sunblock doesn't last from one year to the next. It's like we didn't even use any and it was SPF 50. I think I am going to try the new Neutrogena Water Kids spray on sunblock that says you can spray it on wet kids and it still protects them.

The kids are about to start a summer Arts program/camp at the local Southern Cultural Heritage Center. It is a 5 week program for kids aged 10 to 16 and it is being provided through a grant from the National ENdowment of the Arts so it is FREE (YAY) for the kids. Usually things that happen at the SCHC cost quite a bit. My friend Nicole told me about the camp and I called at the last minute and got them IN because 2 of the kids who were suppose to enroll never confirmed. Nicole's son is going to be going too. It is every day Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 for the next 5 weeks.

I had to buy them each their own digital camera for use in the classes because the first week is a class on photography. We had to go on a picture scavenger hunt yesterday taking pictures of odd things. We had to take a picture of a fire station, a fire truck, a church steeple, a bridge over water, the Mississippi river, a tree, a flower, a statue of a lady (we still haven't found that one) carpet, someone cooking, someone sleeping, a bird, an animal...it was a long list. We got most of them and the instructions say if you don't get EVERY one that's ok. So we aren't sweating the 5 or 6 items we didn't get. There were over 20 listed.

SO instead of rejoining the YMCA this summer so we can go swimming every day, the kids are going to be in Arts camp. I have a feeling my son is going to start it and hate it. He gets bored easy and is hard to please when it comes to things like that. We tried and after school Art class one time and he hated it and ended up begging me to not make him keep going.

This camp is going to be different though. It is for BIGGER kids and they are going to do different mediums and activities. They are doing photography, writing ( kids are gonna hate that part) cartography (I don't even know what that is), making their own t-shirts, music, drama and something else I don't remember.

SCHC would cost $80 a week per kid. SO I am saving $160 a week for 5 weeks not having to pay for the program. Now if the kids end up hating it and wanting to quit then I am out $200 I spent on their little cameras. But the cameras I got them are cute. They are Kodak Easy Share. They are regular camera and video camera and the kids love them. They have never had a camera that has video on it. They have small little handheld video cameras I got them for Christmas but they ended up being flawed and you can't upload the videos from the camera to the computer. With these new cameras they can and they love it. They are making all kinds of videos to put on YouTube.

So I will have some momma quiet time every day from 1 to 4. That doesn't hurt my feelings at all. =)

P.S- I finished the book Hunger Games which is the first book in a series of 3 books, and it was pretty good. Better than I had expected it to be. I am now waiting to go to the library Tuesday so I can return it and get book 2, Catching Fire. Check them out. Reading is good for your brain!

Potatoes potahtoes what the PHUCK ever

I made the statement yesterday. "This booked has peaked my interest" I was told what a dumbass I am corrected. It is suppose to read this book has PIQUED my interest. I as well as most other people did not know that word. And the person who corrected me also just recently learned the word. SO you learn something new illegal everyday. At least on Twitter you do.

The book I was referring to is a book I just started yesterday called Hunger Games. It is the first in a series of 3 written by I think this is how you spell her name I was too lazy to go over to the living room table to check her name spelling Suzanne Collins. They are suppose to be YA (young adult) lit but they seem pretty grown up to me. Kind of like Twilight was suppose to be YA also, but seemed sex adult oriented to me.

I started reading this one based on several ppl on Twitter recommending it to me. I had asked ppl what were some good SERIES books. I had never known about the Harry Potter series until it was already  movie. I never knew about the Twilight series until it was a movie. So even though they are RIGHT NOW making Hunger Games into a movie, I will have read the book before the movie comes out and will have read the whole series in book form. HEY, there is one series I got a jump on before they became TV shows. Goosebumps! I bought the whole series for my DS25 when he was a kid and I still have almost all of them. Some got lost.

I had just finished reading the last HP book Deathly Hallows and also read the last Twilight book, Breaking Dawn. Besides Steven King Under The Dome, those 2 books were the LARGEST books in all of existence I have ever read. They were each around REALLY PHUCKING GIANT 900 pages. (Under The Dome was almost 1200 pages) I got a late start on reading them so I only had one week to finish each book and I lost sleep just barely made it. I didn't want to have to check them back out because that takes effort and I am lazy.

That's why I only got the first book of this Hunger Games series, one, just in case I didn't like it, and two, just in case I didn't get a chance to read them I didn't have them sitting on my table while someone else could be reading them.

I'm glad my library has them. I am even more glad that I even bothered to check if they had them. Usually when there are books I want to read I get on Amazon.com and just order them. But  have been trying to stay away from that because I have a stack of books on my desk right here next to me of books I bought, that I wanted to read at the time, got them, and still haven't touched them.

So my new goal is to try to always get them for free use the library first before buying. Unless they don't yet have a book that I want to read and I don't feel like waiting for the library to get it. I also have learned that even if my own library doesn't have a book you can get a book loaned from another library somewhere else in the state! For free! But you only get to keep those books 2 weeks instead of 3 and you can't check them back out/recheck them. SO get the loaner books one at a time so you have enough time to read them and return them. I could usually very easily finish 3 normal size books in two weeks but since my library has them I don't have to.

I don't know how many NUTJOBS people went to heaven last night in the rapture but everybody I know is still on Earth, including all of you sinners, so I guess we are the ones who have to stay here and live our life and have a good time suffer. At least I will be in good company. If any of you come up with some missing friends in the next few days, go ahead and report them missing but let the detectives know they probably just got sucked up into heaven. We don't want them wasting a lot of manpower searching when we already know where they are, but you should still file the report so when they never come home you can get the life insurance check.

Well,  kidlets, that was your vocabulary lesson and book review for the year day. I pulled double duty and might require payment next time I do that. You can only get so much for free you know.

Had I known...

Had I known the rapture was going to happen Saturday night I might have bought some party food and had some friends over for the end of the world party of 2011. I am never prepared for last minute lunacy.

I saw a guy tweeting on Twitter last night y'all that was believing that it really is going to happen. I felt sorry for him so I didn't retweet it because ppl would have zoomed in and blasted him for being an idiot.

In other news. My daughter is teaching herself Spanish and her first phrase she learned is Me hermano es stupido. My brother is stupid. Yep. SO proud I am. Mother of the year here I come.

For those of you keeping up with the chest hives of 2011, I think it has been narrowed down to either a reaction to the stand up tanning bed I have been getting in or my new Euphoria by Calvin Klein cologne.

I didn't use cologne yesterday but still got the hives after I tanned. However they went away really fast yesterday and are almost completely gone this morning. I still have not used cologne and am going to go tan one more time today and see if the hives come up again with me having no cologne on.

Since they went away s fat this time I am hoping that means whatever reaction my body was having is lessening and going to go away. I didn't wanna have to stop using my BRAND NEW bottle of cologne. It was expensive and it smells very good. But I have never had a reaction to tanning nor have I ever had a reaction to cologne so this is all new to me. And the hives are just right down the center of my chest in between my boobs and a little at the top of my chest above my boobs. None anywhere else.

That's what made me think it might be the cologne because right dead center on my chest/on my shirt is where I spray the cologne when I put it on. I know it's not the actual tanning bed itself because none of my skin touches the bed, it is a stand up cyclone super bed. It's not lotion because I don't use accelerator lotions or tingle cream.

SO, I am about to go tan again. We'll see what happens and if I get hives again. I will let you know.

Does this piss you off?

When you look at this picture does it piss you off? Does it make you feel defensive and angry?

I got this picture from a blog that I occasionally read. The blogger saw the picture on another website and got SUPER MAD about it. Now, needless to say, she is a BIG GIRL and she got very defensive about it calling the poster an asshole and claiming that just because someone may be big doesn't mean that they eat bad.

REALLY?

I am going to say IN MOST CASES (there are some exceptions) your body size and weight are a direct result of the food you eat, what you eat and how much you eat. If you eat healthy your body will be healthy, if you eat CRAP well...you get the point.

I think, unless you are eating the crappy fatty junk food portrayed in the picture there is no reason to be defensive. Nobody is stupid. It is very clear that eating FAT CRAP FOOD makes you fat. You can deny your bad eating habits all day long but when you weigh 250 pounds or are 100 pounds over weight, you are definitely doing something wrong.

I am not the skinny size 4 girl and I am not the big PLUS size girl either. I am average size in between. I eat fairly well being a vegetarian but I hit the junk food sometimes myself. I could stand to lose a few pounds and it is a direct result of bad food choices on my part. But by no means does that picture PISS ME OFF.

I think it pissed her off because she does eat crappy fatty shitty foods and JUNK and she knows it and someone posted this graphic and it HIT HOME with her. The truth usually hurts and when you hit too close to home with some folks, they get pissed.

Kill her!!

It's been awhile since I blogged. I have been slacking in my blogging. But this Casey Anthony murder trial has me glued to my TV and all they are doing right now is jury selection. It is taking forever.

The judge initially said the trial would start this coming Tuesday but with how long these lawyers are taking questioning each of these potential jurors I don't see the trial starting Tuesday.

It wouldn't do for me to be in that jury pool because I have already made up my mind about her guilt. I think she did it. I think she is a monster who murdered her own 2 yr old daughter and kept her in the trunk of her car so long the whole car still stunk when she finally went home to her moms house. Her own mother called the police and said MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS MISSING AND IT SMELLS LIKE THERE'S BEEN A DEAD BODY IN MY DAUGHTER'S CAR. She has since changed her story and is now standing behind her daughter and proclaiming her innocence.

I say convict her now... Don't bother with the trial. Save the taxpayer dollars and just convict her and sentence her to death. She deserves to die.

But I do know that every person, even guilty people deserve a fair trial. BLAH BLAH BLAH. I can't stand slimy ass defense attorneys who defend people like this that they know are guilty of heinous crimes and yet they defend them anyway. That's a scumbag in my opinion. Willing to get guilty people off for a buck. These 4 lawyers are probably defending Casey Anthony Pro Bono just to get the publicity. Just like the OJ lawyers...they can become famous from it. I know her working class parents can't afford these 4 lawyers.

The only sucky thing about this trial is that now that TRU TV is no longer CORT TV they only cover the trial up until 2 pm central time. Then you have to go over to cnn.com/live to finish watching the coverage for the rest of the day. I miss Court TV. When I watched the OJ trial they showed it ALL DAY. When I watched the Scott Peterson trial they showed it ALL DAY. This trial is just as big as the SP trial. They should make an exception and cover it all day.

These are some of the facts...

1. Casey Anthony never reported her own daughter missing. By the time her mother found out the granddaughter was missing she had supposedly been missing for a month.

2. Casey Anthong claims her daughter was abducted by a non existent babysitter. Claims she left her with the lady at an apartment and when she went back to get the girl, everybody was gone.

3. She lied to the police about working at Universal Studios.

4. They have pictures of casey Anthong out in bars drinking and partying, dancing on the bar with other women during the time that she claims her daughter was missing and she was looking for her herself.

5. When they finally got a chance to inspect Casey Anthony's car they did air samples of the trunk and found chemicals consisten with human decomposition.

6. She had a boyfriend during the time her daughter was missing and never once mentioned to him that she had a daughter and that the daughter was missing. She just kept on partying.

7. There were traces of chloroform in her trunk and they suspect that Casey Anthony had been previously using chloroform to knock the girl out and keep her in the trunk while she was out partying because she didn't have anybody to keep her.

8. The girl was found with duct tape around her head less than a quarter of a mile from Casey Anthony's parents home dumped in some foliage on the side of a road.


I think her lawyers KNOW she is guilty but right now they are just trying to save her life and get her LIFE in prison without the possibility of parole as opposed to DEATH.

How do you feel about it? DO you think she is guilty? Does she deserve to die? Or do you even believe in the death penalty?

Such a tragedy

My husband has a first wife. He was married back when he was 21 for less than one year. He is now 34. SO it's been 13 years since he has been married. From what I understand he pretty much hasn't talked to her in the last 12 years, at all. They didn't remain friends.

She was murdered yesterday. My husband found out through ppl who knew her and know him.

It was written up in the Vicksburg Post today, but from what was told to my husband MICHELLE who is the ex wife who was murdered, has an 8 yr old son, a 15 yr old son and a 14 yr old step daughter. She is currently married to the dad of the 14 yr old step daughter.

It is the 14 year old step daughter that murdered her. Shot her, right in the face, with a shotgun. The neighbors saw the 14 yr old driving away from the house in the family's Dodge Durango and shortly thereafter the 15 yr old son came home from school and found his mom lying dead, shot in the face. From what the newspaper says the 14 yr old drove away from the house after she shot Michelle and nobody knows where she is now. She has not been arrested yet. She took off.

She had been getting in trouble lately skipping school or sneaking out the step mom's car and had recently snuck out the car and wrecked it. I guess it was the step mom that had been coming down on her and she had anger towards Michelle.

I can't imagine what kind of rage a child has to have to be able to walk into the house and shoot their step mom in the face. She got the gun out of her dad's truck that was parked outside the house.

It's such a tragedy and such a shock since it was someone my husband not only knew but use to be married to. He is taking it ok but it was a very big shock for him. I can't imagine what the 15 yr old son who came home and found his mom with half her face blown off, what he must be going through and what is this going to do to him and do to his life. How will he turn out now that he has had this tragedy in his life? Will it turn him into an angry person who hates ppl?

Now Michelle has 2 children that have no mother and the husband not only lost his wife, he is now going to lose his daughter as well. If she was 16 or 17 they would probably try her as an adult but since she is only 14 she will probably be put in juvenile detention until she is 21 and she will be released to go on with her life.

A few ppl have asked me since my DH was married to her 12 years ago if the 15 yr old boy was his son. NO. The boy was her child already when my DH met and married her.

Lock your guns up people! My husband has quite a few guns but they are all locked up in a 5 foot 800 pound gun safe. My kids won't be shooting me in the face with my own gun.
